Emerging Minds

IEI - The Institute of Emerging Issues promotes North Carolinians to collaborate and find solutions to issues affecting the state.

The purpose of this project is promote mobile interaction, giving users easy access to post issues as quickly as possible. If users are out in the field and observe a polluted river bed, they can post and alert others of the issue. The title is Emerging Minds, with the hopes of attracting young adult users.

The UI focuses on rising issues and problem solving, and is not intended for social media. The goal is to design with a more serious tone while having a playful UI. The UI filters content with its language. Asking users to "propose" solutions or to add an "issue". The navigation bar keeps track of issues that users are following, as well as comments and proposals they have made.
