Graphic Explorations
These explorations were made in my free time in hopes of learning different visual techniques.
The first 4 set of works are of the Triangle Area - Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill. The goal of the design is to use three triangles to create a logo for each city. Raleigh's design is an acorn, our mascot. Durham is a bull, for their nickname Bull City. And Chapel Hill's design are hills, a nickname of theirs.
The next 2 works were inspired by Fraser Davidson, an illustrator and animator. I turned photos of people into illustrations, then played around with the color and type.
The next work was inspired by reading online comments of how musician, Bruno Mars reminds fans of Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson. This work was essentially for me to play and enhance my learning in Photoshop.
The last work was inspired by looking back at one of my old readings and assignments on type anatomy. I decided to dissect my name for fun.
